Please Continue to Pray

Latest update from Korea:
1 PM. Tita San out of the operating room. She has full movement of her hands and feet. Doctor inserted a tube to drain the blood, he also removed a portion of the right tumor, but did not touch the left. Pleae continue to pray for her.
I think it was good timing that we were having our first Friday mass at the office just when Tita San was in the operating room. Kind of like the book, For One More Day. Go here to read my analysis of it :) Yes, it's another blog of mine, which is all about books.

Anyway, I am taking the recent update to mean that Tita San has regained consciousness, at least enough for the doctors or Tito Lito to say that she has full movement of her extremities. This is good news. Hopeful news. During mass, I was near tears several times as I thought about Tita San, in bed, in the hospital, with none of her family near her with the exception of Tito Lito of course.

And I remembered the huge difference when Dad was in the ICU and we were all there, taking turns to be with him in his room. Although Dad wasn't responding to us, we were there, telling him that he wasn't alone, for him to be strong and to get well soon. We would pray while in his room, knowing that he could hear us.

When Dad recovered, his doctors were amazed. One of them a neurosurgeon had even declared Dad to have sustained brain damage. But to us and the Filipino nurses at the hospital, we knew that it was because we were by Dad's bedside, helping him remember, talking to him, praying with him, sustaining him. I think this makes such a huge difference in a patient's stay at the hospital and I can only wish that we could be with Tita San the way we were with Dad.

{Office News}

I think we are done with our submission to the BIR. Finally! Obviously, I know nothing about the hows of financial reporting; all I know is that there was extreme tension in the office this past month because of all the reporting documents that had to be put together. Aaargh! I think a user-friendly (and management friendly!) type of reporting software should be one that gives access to top-level management, even while personnel encodes the financial data. Of course, security is a must as well; but the best feature should be the ability of the software to structure financial reports around our business requirements.

Then would our FS requirements go smoothly! :)
