The Anniversary Guestbook

is ALL DONE!!!! WHoohooohooohoooo!!!!! Doing the happy dance!!! It is DONE!!!!! Yeah!!! All FORTY pages of them! Yes, that's 40 in numerals, plus a cover! Which is going to be the same for all 4 books, hehehehe. We don't want the books to all be in one table because people had to look at everything now, do we?

I went to the printing place at the Food Court in Shangri Plaza and placed the order. The guy started explaining to me (without bother to look at my files yes, hmp!) that it was going to take so many days etc etc etc. I told him my files were ready for printing and that stopped him cold. He did say "oh". And hurriedly opened my flash drive. hehehehe. Needless to say he was SHOCKED at the beautiful pages that leaped out at him. Hehehehehe. Yeah, I'm modest :) Then he started asking me about how I did my pages and stuff. In a word: scrapbooking :) And he gave me this blank stare. Ok dude. Whatever. Just do my order please, hehehehe.

Apparently, people who have their photo books done at this place just dump all their photos and expect these poor people to fix them in a way that will make the pics look appealing. And they don't use templates! Oh my! No wonder it takes them an additional 2-3 days to fix those photos before getting them ready for printing! While I was there, a teenager was with one of the employees checking each and every page to see if everything was where it should be before printing. And the employee was still making suggestions about writing a caption here and there, which the teen willingly complied with; then it was a matter of choosing the color, the font, the placement. Ack! What a time consuming process.

As for me, I was in and out of there. I just made the guy check the sizes of my files to see if they conformed to their specs just so I wouldn't be hit with any unpleasant surprises when I get my books next week. The earliest they'll get to me is by Monday!!! So I'm excited to see them. If they come out really well, I'm going to put all 40 pages together and have it blown up to a 12x12 album for Mom and Dad.

How'd I get everything done so fast? The secret is QPs! Hahahahaha. These quick pages made it possible for me to get 9 pages done in 4 hours. That was this morning. Good thing the kids woke me extra early when they left for school. I got up, and groggily turned my laptop on. I had to force myself to do because YESTERDAY was my self-imposed deadline to turn in my files for printing! Sigh! But at least the entire this is ALL DONE!!! Yeah! This is such a big thing that I can now cross OFF my list! WHooohooohooo!!!!
