Sandwich Book Report, Take 2

Yup, another sandwich report, this time for Raegan, featuring The Bridge to Terabithia. Thank goodness the basic sandwich has already been done! :) This time around, it was much easier to put everything together.

But Raegan was pickier than Raine, that's for sure. She searched for the main photos, and sat beside me, especially as I was doing the cover. She also insisted that I put a ROPE on pretty much every page because she said the rope was a key object in the story. LOL! Talk about detail-oriented!

Raegan's Sandwich Book Report, ready for submission:

Two down, one to go! Crossing my fingers Rogan wants to do a Sandwich Book Report as well, LOL!

Hi Rona,

My daughter and I love your Sandwich Book 2. I'm not a scrapper and was wondering how exactly did you do this? I looked on The Lilypad (Kate's) site but couldn't find the onion or other sandwich pieces. My daughter's project is due on Friday and I don't have a clue. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for stopping by my (neglected) blog, lol!

For all the pages, I searched for the appropriate images on yahoo or google.

Then on Photoshop (or other editing program):

I enlarged everything to almost 2/3 of a short bond paper or board paper (or big enough to go across the 8.5" width).

I put elements or other embellishments on top of the food photos.

Print.

Cut.

Then I punched a hole at the bottom left and put in a brad or a decorated screw (even the clasp that closes an envelope will work!), arranging the pages in order.

I taped over the brad at the back so it won't wiggle as much.

If you don't have a digital program, you can still do the sandwich by gluing everything onto the printed and cut out food items :)

Let me know if you were able to do it, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

Heya! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers?

My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no back up.

Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?

The other day, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!

Today, I went to the beach front with my children.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a
hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants
to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this site. It's simple, yet
effеctive. A lot of times it's tough to get that "perfect balance" between usability and visual appeal. I must say that you'ѵe done a ѵery goоd job with thіs.
