Dad's Progress

Here's what's happening to Dad:

• Dialysis was done last night. To clean his blood.
• He is on antibiotics to help him fight infection.
• He is becoming hypotensive. (whatever that is)
• Despite all the fluids being pumped into him (IV, food, meds), he has very low urine output.
• Blood pressure is very erratic.
  
• Levofed being given to him to stabilize his blood pressure. However, this medicine constricts his blood vessels and isn't helping his kidney any.

Until his blood pressure is stable, Dad will be in the ICU. Dialysis is being scheduled for 3 times a week.
