Happy Easter....and My Mojo is Back!!!

The Lord is risen today. Let us rejoice and be glad.

We all heard mass at Padre Pio at 10 am. Everyone was there, with the La Vista people a tad bit late. But it was a good feeling to hear mass together, even if we were sitting at different places. Our family and Dic's family HAD to be at the side seats so that the kids could stay at the back (and play with Thomas the train and friends....and not disturb other people.....much, hehehe).

Then the clan congregated at Spring Deer for lunch. Lola was treating, because it was Lolo Carding's birthday yesterday. We asked her if she could just do it Easter Sunday, just so we wouldn't be stuffing ourselves too much again in such a short period of time *roll eyes here......as IF this family does anything to the contrary!!!*

We all then trooped back to La Vista for the kids' Easter egg hunt. Thank you to Bang and Elizza for fixing everything for the Hunt this year; I don't think I could've done it this year. :) Thank goodness for sisters, eh? :)

We had a "double-hiding" of the eggs this year. Boydee, for some strange reason, decided to hide the eggs INSIDE the house. Including the movie room, the game room, and 3 other rooms!!! Hello!!!! First of all, we would have such a hard time staying with ALL the kids (they were 11 in number). Second, we'd have really LOUSYS pictures of Easter if we did the hunting indoors!!!

Ok, fine. Chalk it up to him being a first-time daddy and all, hehehe. So we had the older kids look for the eggs inside the house so we could hide them all over again. OUTSIDE. In the GARDEN. Where we had bright sunlight and therefore a bigger chance of having great pictures for scrapping! :)

We TRIED to take as much photos as we could. But of course, dear Mr. Boydee had the bright idea of giving the first 2 kids who got all their color-coded eggs a prize. So OF COURSE the kids were RUSHING to be the first! Did they have time to stop and smile for the cameras? Of course NOT!!! Aaaargh!!!!!

This is Reese, crying, because Rondic (her own father!!!) and Rodney (a godfather) took one of her eggs as she was on her way to Boydee to claim her prize for being the second to complete her basket. That egg was tossed back and forth until Reese was FRANTIC that someone else was going to beat her for the prize. So of course she cried out of sheer frustration at the 2 adults (!). Which in turn made Rondic pissed that she couldn't take a joke! Sigh! The poor child! Of course, those of us with cameras were clicking away nonstop at all the "drama". Hehehe.

And like the title says, my MOJO is back! Yes! I scrapped something today! Whoohoohoo!!!

I love how this page turned out. It's the first page I've done that have a lot more brushwork than I normally work with. Didn't know it would be nice and pretty with the brushes I used! :)

I'm still scrapping, since I just know I'll be staying up really late tonight. I have a huge migraine and I took Excedrin for it. It has caffeine, so I'll be up in the wee hours of the morning I'm sure.

A last photo for this post:

Happy Easter everyone!

TTFN!

Had a fun Easter, thanks to the kids. I think these occasions are more fun because of the kids. Great LO's as usual. Left a comment on the SIL LO and the You are my sunshine LO in dst. :)
