Yup, the month of Love. Which is why I've got hearts and the color PINK on my blog header! Only for a month......

ENJOYING THE EVERYDAY
Journaling reads: The skyline of Los Angeles was distinct in the distance; we just HAD to get out of the car to take photos on this clear, crisp, COLD Sunday morning. It was fun, knowing that we were some of the few people up and about at that time. This was a special way of simply enjoying the everyday.

AMONGST THE GIFTS
Journaling reads: Maybe because the area under and around the Christmas tree in Polaris was much smaller than the one in La Vista, the number of gifts piled under it seemed to be endless! We had boxes and boxes and bags and bags of gifts for everyone! Wrappers came in different colors, gift tags came in all sizes. The best thing to see was the delight and anticipation in the kids’ eyes as they looked over the mounds of gifts waiting for them. They could hardly wait ‘til midnight; they kept asking “Is it time to open the gifts yet?” and “Is it Jesus’ birthday yet?”

TILE-SLED
Journaling reads: We found a tile that was heavy enough to make into a sled of sorts for the kids. Raegan was the first on it, lugging it behind her as she went up the small hill. Squealing with delight, Raegan successfully rode down the hill on the “sled”. We were all laughing as the kids all had their turn on the Tile-Sled.

LOVE YA, BEST FRIEND!
Journaling reads: I’m not sure how we do it, but Rina and I have remained steadfast friends ever since freshman year in high school. Now, 25 years later, we are still friends. We may not see each other every year, or even talk to each other, but whenever we SEE each other all the years just fade away and we are the BESTEST of friends....forever.
